Vietnam is not a giant country, but it never lets you down with breath-taking sceneries. From natural wonders to modern architecture, Vietnam has some of the best parts of the world. You will never regret for traveling to this lovely country and getting unforgettable experiences here.
1. Ganh Da Dia & Giant’s Causeway
Ganh Da Dia literally means The Sea Cliff of Stone Plates. Located approximately 30 km from Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, Ganh Da Dia boasts unique geographical features in the Central Vietnam. This natural wonder is a collection of large pentagonal rocks piercing the sky, formed by a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. In one telling, Ganh Da Dia was once a magical treasure trove but it didn’t want to be taken, so transformed into rocks to stay here for good.
Ganh Da Dia in Vietnam is much akin to the Giant’s Causeway on the northern coast of Northern Ireland. They’re all resulted from successive flows of lava inching toward the coast and cooling when they contacted the sea. Getting to Ganh Da Dia, you can adore the breath-taking magnificence of nature and find fun in many activities from swimming, fishing to camping.
2. Hon Ba Island & Jindo Sea
Tourists don’t feel estranged from Vung Tau beaches and seafood. But what else makes Vung Tau worth your visit? To reach Hon Ba Temple, you can either go by boat or walk leisurely on a ‘magical’ path which is accessible when tides are low. Seen from above, the sea seems to be separated, leaving space for travelers to walk through. This scene looks like what happens at Jindo Sea, Korea when the sea also parts to reveal the road that connects two of the country’s islands. The best time to visit Hon Ba Island is on the 14th and 15th of the lunar month.
