Pick-up & drop-off

We will collect and return you to any hotel located within Hanoi City Center. If you are staying out of the city we can collect you for an extra charge depending on the distance. Please get in touch for prices.

Itinerary
Escape to the Tranquillity of Rural Life

We start our wonderful day trip with a two-hour drive from the hustle and bustle capital of Hanoi to the quiet and beautiful Ninh Binh countryside (approximately 100 kilometres away) with some amazing limestone karsts.. Our first stop is Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam during the Dinh Dynasty (968-980) and early Le Dynasty (980-1009).

Visit Hoa Lu Citadel – Ancient Capital

On arrival, we will visit the Dinh & Le Temples and dive into Vietnam feudalism history. Your knowledgeable guide will take you back to the 10th century with the exciting stories about the Kings will make your day.

Bike Ride Through a UNESCO Heritage Site

Next, it is time for a wonderful guided bike ride through the area to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery as you ride along the back roads with lime karts towering above, rice paddies and local family homes around. You also can experience nature, whilst riding around, which you see the birds, storks, cows, buffaloes, especially goats climbing on the karts looks really picturesquely.

Following our bike ride, we’ll stop at a local family home for a traditional lunch where you can treat yourself to a cold beer with some local delicacies before visiting the must-see Tam Coc.

Rowboat Ride with a River Soundtrack

Tam Coc is often referred to as the Halong Bay of the land thanks to its spectacular scenery. Here, we’ll do a rowing-boat ride passing the serene rice paddies, caves and the surrounding limestone karsts along winding Ngo Dong river. This part is ideal for those who are keen on taking photographs, please make sure your cameras have lots of free space and battery.

After the boat trip, we will return to Hanoi. However, if you are still energetic and keen on exploring more, feel free to talk to our guide to get some recommendations!
