Itinerary
Welcome to the Vibrant Hub of Culture

Upon arrival at Laem Chabang Port, you will meet your English-speaking guide at the cruise terminal before departing for the city centre. The transfer usually takes 2 – 2.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Bangkok is Thailand’s capital and most important city, and thanks to its massive size, each district has its own identity and characteristics. This place always has something to offer for any holiday vibe you are looking for.

First, visit the Grand Palace, a unique architectural masterpiece that illuminates Thai culture and heritage. Stroll along the splendid buildings within the Grand Palace complex, such as the Funeral Palace, the Reception Reception, the Throne Hall, and the iconic Emerald Buddha Temple to get the feel of the magnificence of architectural style.

Next, we will enjoy a delightful lunch of traditional Thai cuisine at a riverside restaurant (for an additional charge) before making a stop at Wat Arun*. Following this, embark on a discovery trip into the canals of Thonburi. This is a great opportunity to feel the daily rhythms along the riverbanks and understand how life has thrived here for years.

(*) Alternatively, we will head to Wat Traimit for a close-up view of a 5.5-tonne, solid-gold statue of a seated Buddha. (Please note that this option is available for an additional fee of $5)

The boat trip will take you further to Wat Pho, a spectacular temple complex that is truly something to marvel at. Just take a walk and slowly soak in the little details that make the temple one of the most remarkable sites in Bangkok.

Around 6 p.m. arrive at your hotel for check-in and relaxation. You have plenty of time in the evening to discover the city at your own pace. Your accommodation is not included in the tour, so please let us know if you have any requests for hotel reservations, or you can arrange your own hotel accommodation.

Buzzed Up with Locals’ Trading Atmosphere

Today is for you to learn more about the lively trading activities in Bangkok. Depart early, at 6.30 a.m., to make the most of your time this morning. We will reach the “train market”, a unique market that hugs the track of the Maeklong Railway. See how the local vendors sell their products and how stalls are pulled back from the tracks when a train approaches. What a scene not to be missed!

Afterwards, we will depart for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Upon arrival at the pier, hop on a longtail motorboat to cruise along the canal. Pass local orchards and Thai spirit houses. Take in the sights and sounds as you see friendly local vendors sell goods directly from their boats. Feel free to enjoy some more shopping opportunities once you disembark the boat. The local handcrafted products come in various patterns and designs, so you might need extra time to choose your favourite.

Don’t let your belly feel unhappy! After a morning filled with so many captivating sights, it’s time to fill your stomach with a unique Thai meal. Following your lunch, set off on a three-hour journey back to Laem Chabang Port. By 4 p.m., you will arrive at the port and have plenty of time to prepare for your next departure.
