Port Permit Service:
- Opt to purchase port permit service: For a fee of 25 USD/person, our guide and transport can go inside the port, right to your cruise ship for pick-up and drop off. This requires passport details such as full name, passport number, DOB, expiry date and nationality. We recommend this service for safety and comfort during the hot or rainy days, as well as a reliable transport service.
- Opt not to purchase port service fee: Please walk out of the port for 15 minutes – 20 minutes where our guide and driver will welcome you with a sign and a smile. This does not include a fee.
Tour Description
The distance from Phu My Port and Hiep Phuoc Port to Ho Chi Minh City is 70km and 26km respectively. If you prefer to avoid shuttle buses organized by cruise lines to take a big group to the city center, you can refer to our private car. Our driver and transport will meet and greet you at the port main gate upon your arrival. To have a pick up right by your cruise ship, an extra fee of 25$/ person will be applied as we need to request for Port Permit Service to go inside. After a 2-hour drive from Phu My Port or 1-hour drive from Hiep Phuoc Port, you will be dropped off at the destination of your choice. Please make sure that you already book the return transfer if you continue your journey with the cruise. As we strictly follow the cruise schedule, we will guarantee to return you to the port on time.
Once you confirm your booking, please send us your passport details and cruise schedule for us to make the best arrangement.
Kindly note that to register for Port Permit Service, we need your information at least 2 days in advance.
Questions & Answers
1. How long is the cut-off time?
We recommend you to book at least 8 hours before. If your flight schedule is changed, please contact us as soon as possible.
2. Is this price per person or per private car?
This is the price per private car with a driver.
3. What is the cancellation policy for private transfer?
Free charge is applied if you cancel at least 12 hours in advance. Within 12 hours, we have to charge your booking.
4. Do your drivers speak English if we want to know something during our trip in Ho Chi Minh City?
They can speak very basic English so if you need someone to explain as much information as you want, please contact us or request a tour guide in advance. Extra charge will be applied for the tour guide.
5. Do we need to prepare Vietnam Dong?
Dollars and Credit cards are accepted almost in major stores and restaurants, however, local places such as markets may prefer Vietnam Dong; exchange around 50 USD – 100 USD is good.
6. How to make the payment?
We accept the payment method as bellow:

The tour was very well organized, and the guide spoke very good English.
